Flocell XFM Fines media is available as a licensable bulk product for integration into denitrification systems or large projects. Ammonia is converted to nitrite and finally nitrate with the open cell structure of the carrier elements creating a large surface area for the rapid biological degradation of organic contaminants.
The optimised design of the XFM allows for the maximum efficiency characteristics of the media to be utilised resulting in a smaller plant footprint, saving significantly on capital expenditure and optimising the available space.
